Funerals
I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. John 11:25-26
The funeral liturgy can bring great comfort. It helps us through our sorrow, it helps us show our belief in eternal life, and it helps us pray for the one who has died.
The bereavement ministry at St. Boniface will guide you in the planning of the funeral liturgy for your loved one. Please see the Q&As and music guidelines below.
Preplanning your own funeral liturgy could be helpful to your family someday as they will know your preferences for readings and hymns. Contact the parish office if you would like to do this.
Each year St. Boniface celebrates a Mass of Remembrance around the Feast of All Souls, November 2. As a church family we remember those who have left us during the past year. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us.
